Last year there was someone who was preparing a proposal, but I never heard
of anything coming of it.<

I'd love to make a proposal but more than negotiating on price, I'd want to
know exactly what properties he owns that he would sell. 

I mean, how many checks and legal documents does he want me to prepare
before I discover his price? "Here's one for $1, here's one for $5
dollars....stop me when I'm getting warm!"
