Your right, that would be a strange observation, but that wasnt what I
meant. I meant that between D&D games and OTHER D&D games and between
Traveller games and OTHER Traveller games and between GURPS games and OTHER
GURPS games you'll find that players have alot of common ground. 

Not that D&D and Traveller games are alike! Sorry for the confusion. 

But aren't we all on this list because we like alot of the same things
about TFT? Not all of them, but enough to have an interesting discussion
about it!

that's all I'm saying...

PS: I *do* think that Traveller careers are the same as classes because
they restrict the kind of skills and stuff you have access to. You cant get
a Scout ship as a Marine. Well, even former-Marines should be able to get a
Scout ship if they want! In that sense, they're as restrictive as classes
to me.
