I find that the *worst* of those habits are handled by the rules. The rest
are handled by peer pressure. 

In other words, munkchins will quickly quit a TFT campaign when they find
out they can't be all-powerful. After they've killed their own characters
as few times...

Anything 'subtler' will be frowned upon by the better role-players, who are
already setting a good example that's more likely to be imitated anyway...
