There is defiantly adventure here. The U.S. moved to a bimetallic economy
about 125 years ago and it was not a pretty seen. The "Robber Barons" in the
east used dollars that were gold based but after a huge silver strike in
Comstock the federal government agreed to purchase enough silver to mint a
new silver dollar. The easterners were concerned about the effect of all
these silver dollars on their gold dollars and opposed this vigorously.
Stores and banks that accepted silver were burnt and businessmen were gunned
down. Maybe the PC's would be hired by the cabal (paid in aluminum of
course) to protect them from the inevitable retaliation of the gnomish
bankers against the new "filthy mammon".
