(TFT) mapperEncounter resurrected

Ive resurrected Encounter Mapper. I found a Bug that I thought I killed a year and a half ago. The java examples in a nutshell book now has the formula for doing poly gons. I could try to do it in that then.

Did anyone ever send me those encounter charts?

I modeled the terrain types from ITL. The back of the book has a neat map.

I have the following basic types of terrain object/features:
fort, capital, human village, dwarven village, ruin, other, city, forest, plains, mountain

Then I also have mapping colors: red for swamp, yellow for desert, cyan for plains, blue for water, black for dungeon wall or "other", white for clear, green for forest

So you could combine 2 effects like forrest/green and fort.

Then what you do is you put these tables that maps the terrain features and types to some encounter. So its at least half done.

theoretically the DM clicks on a space that the party has just entered and it does a table look up to see if anything random is encountered. I also want to have the ability to drop down a level so that if the dm clicks on a spot where there is a dungeon, the dungeon hex map opens. I will put in another terrain feature for trap. That should be fun :)

The Librarium is in Glendale, California...Near Pasadena...possibly near a
hole in the ground...with termites.

David,

The Mnoren Librarium is closed for refurbishing, but when it gets the copy
of "In the Labrynth" back from my nephew, it will be open. That should be
in a few weeks.

For the cost of postage and insurance (or just postage if it goes courier)
both ways, you can borrow:
ITL, AW, AM, GM Screen, Silver Dragon, Unicorn Gold, Tolenkar's Lair, etc.
Check out time is one week. How you decide to remember these items after
they are returned is up to you.

The Librarium is often the last resort if you cannot buy the item.
