that is why i like a PBEM format..i am in 2 of AD&D that work very well, with 
the DM able to work off the writer's moves...as far as a "forced march" solo 
and pre-contrived events. That is all well and good as long as they are not  
major to the charaters..in other words. Those should be stuff the see or hear 
about, but not involved in...elsewise you are back to  making puppets of the 
charaters...that takes the players out of the game...Don
