(TFT) FORWARD TO TFT LIST

All this talk of "specialty" wizards got me thinking of ways to make this work that doesnt throw off the balance of the rest of the TFT system.

How about using Andrew Morris's "Knowledge" talent? Since this talent is a 'self-defined' 'catch-all' style talent, it ALWAYS needs to pass through a GM's approval radar.

Therefore it can be balanced per an indivudal's campaign without having to affect other Talent costs.

So you could use it for "Ancient Chinese Secrets" and know and extra +12 spells.

Or use it for "Zombie Magic". Knows all Necromantic spells at half IQ cost (meaning that the Knows Zombie Magic talent gives 'back', # IQ points).

Each 1 IQ point of Knowledge talent can be used for as many spells of the wizard's speciality as any GM desires.

Would something variation of that be any more palatable to those who want specialty wizards?
