An illustration of why I don't think that armor should protect versus guns
in TFT:

1. An average warrior probably has a ST of 11-12; call it 12.

2. An arquebuss will kill that warrior 63% of the time if he's unarmored.

3. If he is wearing plate, the kill chance drops to 10%.

This seems way too odd to me.
