A polite request!   Please "snip" articles you are replying to and don't repost the whole article when you are writing about just a small portion of the article.  It's bad enough reading those when they are individual email but when it is in digest form, forget it!   I enjoy reading the posts but it's hard to see when one begins and one ends.     BTW, I believe bow power is in relation to its pull.  So damage should be dependant on the ST of the archer.  Also muzzle velocity for a typical musket is about 900 to 1100 feet per second.  Brown Bess = 1020 per second.  A typical ball from this weapon can do more skeletal damage to a target than many modern weapons can because of the slower velocity of the projectile.
