All,apologies on the lateness of my reply wrt bows. Reading the digest that arrived this morning, I realized my post did nothing more than rehash what had already been said better by others, though I wrote it as soon as I got the original question. I may have to turn off digest mode.

Lucky this time. I'm not well-read enough, so I often just reinvent the wheel. err... Sapphires and Emeralds? Plain ol' Gold would work too. Or how about Molybdenum? I know that's found in the Rockies in Colorado, among other places. Any metallurgists listening? Would Molybdenum be useful in Cidri?
