Other considerations:

When knocking over a human, unless you also paralyze them instantly, they're going to flinch, stumble, etc. Someone stumbling can backpedal a long ways before landing on their butt. Even if paralyzed, they'll tend to end up falling backwards some distance as long as you give them a push unless they crumple, since they tend to be 5-6 feet long, so tipping over even from a feather touch will tend to land their center 2.5-3 feet back, or more.

Momentum imparted from a swung weapon would include the weight of the arm, and also force exerted by muscles during contact (pushing). It would also depend on where along the lever arm the contact took place, and where the center of gravity of the weapon was (a hammer or axe has more mass out at the end, and so I expect would impart more momentum than a balanced sword).
