As owner and co-creator of the Loran campaign and world map I would be very pleased to have "The Land" included on your Geographica Cidriana !

The Loran campaign is pretty much self contained geographically speaking, it's one of those worlds where explorers risk falling over the edge if they travel too far!

There are no regular trade routes to other lands, but all the resident cultures have some history of travelling from somewhere else (and usually getting lost on the way). There are old 'wild' gates to other lands and individual strangers find their way to the land often enough to form a class of 'Outlanders'.

The Land has a pocket weather system, making it hot and humid in the centre (Mediteranean) near the coast, becoming dryer and colder further out towards the edges. Up on the northern rim it's practically arctic! Physically it's shaped like the inside of a shallow bowl or crater. On a very clear day, the rim mountains could be seen from almost anywhere on the plains, (It's a relatively small place).

Regards,

Chris Nicole
