One might go further and assume that all the sentients
have some of this 'blood of Amber' (and given that
there might be Chaos mixed in, some of the
non-sentients, as well). So it just becomes a fact of
'physics' that crossing the Misty Mountains while
intending to head for Southland takes you to
Southland, while the same pass also leads to
Murkenwald, Dewleaf, and Coo-KaMunga! (sorry)

Perhaps one needs to have seen these paths before, and
perhaps some higher degree of Blood or training lets
one discern them.

But anyway, it's not that PCs have to be special,
sometimes it's more magical if it's more mundane.
This would be the Corollary to 'Industrial Disease',
in a way.
