not to be contrary, but ....

The idea of a hollow earth is ingenious, but it doesn't work for me.
Even with the idea of 'reversing' gravity, other physics would just
be too wierd.  For example:  the curve of the earth is all wrong - 
ships would no longer disappear beyond the horizon and in fact, 
there is no horizon.

Your physics/math is a litte off as well.  While it is true that you
can treat the mass of the planet as all being concentrated at the 
center when you're computing the force of gravity, that goes out
the window when you are talking about standing on the inside of
a sphere.
