Well, supposedly thats what the 'defend' option is supposed to
be able to do.  Trouble is: 1) everyone can defend equally well, 
and 2) its at the expense of an attack.

Well, you could argue that the extra hits stopped is the equivalent
of a block or parry - I hit you for 1 point of damage - oh, your shield
stops that much?

Well, here we have the problem of a stat being made to represent
too many things.  In Melee and TFT, your DX is not only a measure
of physical dexterity, it is also a measure of your skill level.  Yuck.
