Hi Jay, everyone.
  Of course not!

  In my neck of the woods, Matt's, Dave's, Steve's, Dan's &
Bob's campaigns grew from my rules set for TFT. I doubt
that any of these campaigns would have started with only
the basic rules. Steve has said so explicitly.

The main reason I watch the TFT list is for new rules to
think about adding to my campaign (or at least argue about
them).

Based on the number of different solutions for HTH, memory,
fatigue ST for wizards, healing spells, parrying, etc. that I've seen
(on this list and in other campaigns) I would suggest that there
are several areas where TFT GM's usually feel the urge to
tinker with the rules.

If you want to keep your TFT campaign 'pure' go ahead, but I
certainly won't agree with the idea that the basic rules are
some paragon that we should strive to enforce.

  Warm regards, Rick
