(TFT) Social Contracts

Okay then.
No naraters. No GM's.
Just a Game Orginazational Directer.
It's G.O.D.s stuff to begin with so at whatever point everybody quits playing, the stuff ultimatly goes back to G.O.D. (this does not mean that each player can't be a G.O.D. {Mnoren stuff here} but each seperat G.O.D.s materales ultimatly return to them.
For those worried about copyright and such this means you have to do it in your own world FIRST before you can do it in mine.
Anyhoo here's the structure.
All players/npc's are listed on a "character sheet".
(actually populations of Joe/Janes can easily be handeled statisticly, but once written a Joe NPC does not vaporise but is kept at a place, even after he dies I suspose.... unless your Norse... shut up Jay)
All Items are listed on a card
(again there are shortcuts like letting all the gold coins in the same spot be written on a single card)
All Places are a manalla legal folder. Any Sheets or Cards not currently in play (ENCUMBRANCE) are kept in the Place/folder they were last left in.
A place folder also contains all other pertinate info on that location, such as maps, job tables, resources and etc.
The longer players walk around the more this kind of info will increase.
If a player builds a building, they keep that place folder. Same with land grants. Same with War.
The player who controls a location "GMs" that location, includeing 'downtime', invasions, etc.
As the game gets more complex G.O.D. could have nothing to do with this. Each player is responsable for their own domain. If building or managment isn't your cup of tea then don't own land. There's still plenty to do.
Alot of this has to do with the story the G.O.D. wants to tell and it isn't my place to say a word about anyone elses story (until they publish it LOL).
Frodo sold Bagend so most of the downtime upkeep fell on that G.O.D. until he was able to sluff off a major chunk on the Strider player in Gondor...
But if the G.O.D. starts everyone as equal Kings ala Civ2 Multiplayer, well...
anyone ever play that one?
Anyhoo if anyone wants/needs to leave the game then just return the folders...
Am I getting the idea of what they are talking about?
