Re: (TFT) Standing up... movement or action?

Clearly i've been playing this rule thinking it was a part of the original mele rules when it was in fact a house rule. I've looked for supporting documentation in the books but found none so far. Of course, reliving the thousands of rules debates, any one of which might have given rise to this decision, is pretty much impossible for my feeble brain. The college years in particular are difficult to focus.

If I can't find support for the house rule, then it explains quite a few other rulings being out of sync with the books as well. I might even make some calls on this one and try to learn the reason we adopted it. Being able to take a person HTH when you were knocked down was one of the dangers of knocking someone down in our world. It has always been the last ditch effort of the dying (which occasionally on a roll of a 6 capped them off).

Good Fortune,
Richard

Richard,
    This is a false statement.
