Sorry, but that's not the first edition. Boardgamegeek shows it as 3rd 
and 5th, from the graphics. My own memory says that it's a later 
edition.

Interesting that someone has done a web version. See here:

(actually looking around boardgamegeek, there's some graphics files for 
equipment and such that some might be interested in). 

For some reason, the B&W with purple version seems to stand out as 1st 
edition for me. I seem to recall being slightly surprised when Wizard 
came out and had a color cover.
