Have you SEEN data on something like the arm rotation of a professional QB
in the NFL?
A turn in TFT is 5 seconds.
A hex in TFT is 1.3m (about four and a third feet).
My old decrepit butt can move a little over 20 feet and pick up and throw a
couple of pretty much whathaveyou inside of 5 seconds.
Doing that well is another story but even I can get the shots off.

Yeah, the "run 13-ish yards in 5 seconds and do nothing else" option.
REALLY?
I perfer the "cinematic" visual to THAT picture as a limit of human ability.

Okay, but I'd add dice to the check for "move", "scoop-up" and "ready"
along with the minuses involved... at LEAST -4 on the second throw.
That's two 6d checks against said Figures DX... uhhh average on 6d6 is
around 21, with at least a 25 on the oft-hand shot.
And that's if it's something you've practiced... elseif it's like using a
weapon the Figure dosen't have the Talent for.
...
Not saying that's how things HAVE to be, just saying it sounds fairer to me
than the really untenable movement rules as they stand from the 70's.
Assumptions were made that made asses outta you and me folks... nobody's
fault... just needs an "update".
Bad visuals elseif.
