Okay, one of these little villages on the Goblin map is gonna hire a cop
(Police Recruit, 3 Weapon Skills, $50, 5/16
Call it 200 days farmhand pay for 30ish days work for a bit less than a
5 percent shot at a CP and roughly half that to get hammered i.e. 3d6
check on highest stat w/4d6 (14 avg) dam on fail.
Sword (+ Knife) and Shield are all cheep so a cop can be stupid, ST 12, DX
12, IQ 8 give him Running, Thrown Weapons, and Farming to round him out.
ST 12 puts him into the 2d6 dam range, or about 7pts a whack, -2 DX and real
close to a fanny-knock,
On average he gets 2 CP per one fail on average.
In the best case he puts both points into ST to have a rough 50/50 shot at
surviving the average fail.
So youre rolling a boatload of dice on a fifty-fifty prop vs. going on an
adventure?
And the very next extreme just may be the same check
This isnt a done deal.
And the rules as written dont give a farmhand anything but room and
board.
