Re: (TFT) please help

If the ships are small, as in Millenium Falcon sized or smaller, then Hard Vacuum is what I'd use as the things a ship does are easily translatable into skill tests v. a crew's abilities. If the ships are getting into the next bigger class up, then I understand full Thrust could be your answer, but I don't know it, just that it's popular.

I'm working on a semi-character driven small scale space game for Two
Hour Wargames... I say semi-character driven because you can play with
no characters (just generic crews) and crew ability is not the only
factor... ship stats matter a lot too... but that could, perhaps,
interest folks here when it comes out.

I always liked Full Thrust by Ground Zero Games.
It's great for fast fleet actions tho' less useful for character
interaction.

For a more personal approach, I did a Star Wars fighter variant based on
John Tuffley's TAC Ship rules.
This is hex based and does allow for Pilot skills.
I could send you a copy if interested...
If I can find it...

Note this was built around the Original/Real Star Wars films [ SW, ESB,
ROTJ ] not the recent drivel !
:o)

May the Force be with you,

"Sucking Vacuum" by Alien Menace would make a good TFT game as well.

simple, fun, realistic "feel' without a lot of effort - Hard Vacuum, by Fat Messiah Games. It's also very cheap, about $15 instead of $30-60. I like it so much I'm getting the supplement. It also uses hex-based movement with
options for open table miniatures. Would make a great TFT / GURPS
adventure.

Space travel thoughts all... Mr T! I'm looking in your direction!

Balistics give vectors and engines allow curves I think.

How does the list handle this?
Or at least think about it?

As my 'lightning' posts prove Jay can use LOT'S of help.

So how about some ideas?
