I advocate for ST based damage for hand weapons modified by simple
mechanical principals like what class of lever is it and is its force on a
plane, line or point.

I also think SJ saw pics of really big boomers and thought they were still
thrown perhaps.
As I understand it the bigger ones were not thrown but were rather a combo
attack and defense tool.
But I don't know much about Oceania either.
