Re: (TFT) Microquests

A late response to Joe Hartley here.

MicroQuests - which ones have you played? Which ones
did you like most? Least? Did you play them solitaire
exclusively, or use them as a basis for a fuller RPG
  experience?

I only played them solitaire, as they came out.

By far my favorite was Grail Quest. I put off buying it for a long time
because of the poor box art and an (incorrect) assumption about religious
overtones. When I finally played it, I enjoyed it immensely - it was the only
one that really felt like good quality roleplaying, rather than a substitute
when no gamesmaster was available.

I also enjoyed both Death Test and Death Test II, as well as Security Station.
What can I say - I like tactical puzzles.

The only thing I can remember about Silver Dragon was that I was really bored.
There didn't seem to be any story knitting it all together, and the encounters
weren't well designed enough to be reliably interesting from a tactical
standpoint.

I bought a couple of others, but I don't remember anything about them at
all....
