The rule of five states that the first five magic items you pick
up are the only ones that work. Does this mean that someone with
five items on is immune to cursed items? I believe it would,
barring a special dispensation for cursed items. And then what
about items with both good and bad effects?

It seems that it might be simpler to say that the *last* five
items you picked up are functional, although that has the potential
downside that someone might fire cursed missiles at you just to
turn off your magic items.

Thoughts?

You guys even bother with the rule of five at all?

Your characters must be packin' heavey.

Hail Melee,
John Paul
