You raise a question in my mind though. How valuable are "catagories" of
monsters to the GM (presumably the user of a Monster Manual)?

I've always thought they were useless - I think the orgainzation of the ITL
monsters are horribly less convinient to use than alphabetically.

And as you point out, without the categories have a specifically described
"meaning" they seem very arbitrary.

What does everyone else think?
