Well, if the "fair price" in his market is 1/4 of the book, then as the GM
that's his decision. He simply has a different economy than the books.

I dont think so, but that all depends on how much work the GM wants to put
into the economy. It may not be a matter of what the PCs can or can't do as
far as selling their wares.
It may simply be that on the few days everyone can play, the GM doesn't
want to bother spending it haggling with merchants over the price of swag.
He may have another story to tell...
I don't believe in squeezing the players out of their rewards, but
sometimes you make the decision that you want to move on with the story
rather than play "Alan Greenspan on Cidri"...
