(TFT) Magic Fist an area affect spell?

From the looks of things magic fist is a quasi area affect spell by the 
way it can be use to set of traps etc.

if thats the case can you nail more than one dungeon rat (st:1) at a time? 
you can have more than 1 rat in a hex?
