The first line under the definition of the Sweeping Blow that says:
"Figures with a two handed cutting weapons...", so blunt weapons of any
sort are not suitable.  One of the other advantages of the Multiple Swing
talent is that it allows a character to make sweeping blows with one handed
cutting weapons.
