Are angels summoned or sent by the diety as a result of divine will or
intervention?  I think this is the historic, mythological difference between
angels and devils.  Clarence shows up as a result of the intervention of St.
Peter.  Angels just show up throughout the New Testament without beseeching.
Examples:  The angel at the tomb, the angel that visits Mary to announce
God's bidding of her, the angels telling the shepherds about the coming of
the Messiah, etc.   Now this is the Christian thought on these dieties.
