I was talking here about high level campaigns. It
does not take very long, to go from 32 to 33 attributes.
However when you are 53 attributes it takes a very long
time to go to 54. Do you really want the people to have to
wait 2 or 3 attributes to pick up one 2 or 3 point talent?

In my opinion, the problem with GURPS is
that it had too many 'small' talents. Also a high IQ figure
could become very capable in all the IQ based talents for
1/2 a point each. I've been running my TFT campaign for
more than 20 years, and these 'GURPS like' problems
have not arisen.
