Re: (TFT) First edition Melee on eBay

I'd like to get a hold of 1st Edition copies of all the TFT Microgames
and Quests just to get the countersheets. I want to stick them in a decent
scanner and scan them, then print out more counters as needed onto cardstock
on a color printer. Then if necessary I can run off zillions of orcs to
confront my players with, e.g.:
GM: "You also see some orcs on the far side of the room."
Player: "How many orcs?"
GM: "All of them."
(Last year SJG republished /all/ of the cardboard heroes they ever
published (as stand-alone products) into one book for about $20. One of my
players bought it for me as a present. I ran off a copy on a color copier,
then archived away the original and cut up the copy for play. Worked out
really well.)
(Yes Virginia, I know the U.S. has a law against that. Let's have a chat
about the TWA Flight 800 cover-up, shall we?)
I do have all the TFT Microquests unpunched (and all the relevant
Microgames). Unfortunately all of them are 2nd Edition or later and the
printing on some of the counters is rather muddy (sounds like poor quality
control at MG later on down the road). It would be nice to get ahold of
some mint 1st Edition countersheets for scanning, printing out, and playing
with. (Some of my original Melee and Wizard counters are looking rather
ragged, and I'm sure a few are missing after all these years.) Anyone have
these and willing to loan them out for a short time? Then I can print out
new ones for my own use and send the graphics files to anyone who passes the
rulebook test (sounds like a good thing for the TFT Library to have).
