(TFT) Labels on Counters?

When I set up my Cardboard Heroes, I had to use a fine-point marker to write
an ID number on the front and back of each.  Otherwise...

"The big guy in the red tabard moves..."

"This one?"

"No, the *other* big guy in red...  Er, no, that's the blood mage.  The one
there between the rogue in gray and..."  Etc.
