If you have a couple extra Meg of disk space, you can create
.pdf files for free (assuming you're running win9x or NT).

Install a new printer driver for the Apple Laserwriter. Check the box
that says 'print to file' (or select FILE as the interface device
- I forget which). When you print the counter sheet, select this
printer device, and it'll create a .prn file.

Install Ghostscript (and optionally, GSview) - you can download
these at http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/aladdin/ . Load GSview,
and open the .prn file. Select 'convert' from the file menu, and
pdfwrite should be the default.

I've found that .pdf files created from CC2 are slow to open, but they
print quite nicely, although a few files I've converted from within CC2
haven't worked quite right. To work around this, export the counter sheet
to a .bmp file at a good resolution, and load that into Paint, and from
there you can print to a .prn file and convert.

Or, you can get in touch with me off-list, and I can do the conversion for
you - since I'm already set up, it would only take me a few minutes.
