Stan,
    Here is a breif reprint of the table on Ty's web site for converting 
D&D to TFT hits stopped.  There are multiple ways to do it of course, and 
this is just one.  The GM can use their own conversions based on which 
diffent parts of the game systems they are trying to emphasize.

AC9 soft body without protection
0

AC8 thin chitin or light fur or shield only
1

AC7 leather armor, medium fur, or light scales
2

AC6 leather + shield, or heavier fur or scales
3

AC5 chainmail, or heavy reptile scales

AC4 mail and shield, or medium dragon scales
4

AC3 plate armor, or a shell
5

AC2 plate and shield, heavy shell, or old dragon scales
