That was from an old Murphies's Rules. I never agreed 
with that particular panel of the comic. 

The rules said a liter of wine was $2 and an empty
skin was $3. No reason to assume that you got a
free wine skin with your liter of wine.

A bunch of Murphies' rules were like that. Any non-
bloody minded reading of the rules would not find a
problem with them.

I suspect the guy that did Murphies' Rules started
running out of dumb rules that he knew about and 
had to stretch towards the end.
