(TFT) blowholes trivia
Yup, there are two just south of Sydney in a little town called Kiama too
(where the rocks are all hexagonal, like a 3d melee map, just like the
Giant's Causeway in N. ireland)
It is good to see usage of odd geological formations as they do exist and
make for interesting strategic plans. In Australia there are Horseshoe
shaped plateaux in the desert. Uluru-like boulders in the eastern forests
and large subterranean caves and sinkholes under the Nullarbor plain. Also,
type in 'Twelve Apostles' + 'Great Ocean Road' in Victoria, Australia and
see what comes up in a search engine. Gigantic sandstoen stacks just off the
coast - what a great haven for flying colonies of gargoyles
Think of kakadu in northern Australia, dry and pleasant in winter, and a
vast lake in summer/ the monsoon/wet season, and these are just my own
country.
In Guilin/Yangshuo in China one sees amazing limestone formations, much like
the Dolomites in N. Italy, with narrow sided almost vertical hills with
forests on top, surounding fertile farmlands - with caves underneath (being
limestone) -great land for adventure - human farmer serfs with Gargoyle
overlords???
