Being in the financial world having moved there from medicine, would it be
wrong of me to observe that the ethos of the gamer who "cheats" to get a
better result for his character is the same as the ethos of those
accountants who "cheat" to get a better result for their
firms/clients....... the only difference is that the Anderson guys didn't
get to take their dice home ?

I used to think gamers had a high ratio of anal retentive to 
'normal.' Then I got to college and discovered that it was about the 
same, so gamers must be ok as a group. Then I got a job, and 
discovered that we were WAY better than average.
