That's not bad...  I more easily see a sort of 'magic
crystal' wall growing from the line of liquid poured
from the flask.  Say there's seven hexes in the flask,
and you can pour it out in the shape you want.  If
it's thrown and smashed, it's a megahex wall, with
plenty of time for anyone to get clear as it grows.
