   Thanks a lot.  The only thing I can offer till monday, is a little 
random encounter program I just finished.  It's for cities or towns, day or 
night.  I finally taught the computer to use the same tables I've been using 
for my campaign.  It generates encounters such as this classic...

  "Pack of scroungy dogs is arguing with a dinosaur over scraps of food."

   It's free at www.branya.com in the software section, and it's called 
"City encounters."
