Re: (TFT) Healing potions in TFT.



It just occured to me:

Maybe a healing potion that caused two days worth of metabolic activity
(including healing) wouldn't also cause two days of aging.

Maybe aging is not X hours of life, maybe aging (in a particular world in
question...) is living through so many external galactic timecues, like that
one GM's midwinter birthday party for the whole world (with funerals the
following day?).

In such a world, living two days isn't aging two days.  It _does_ make you
hungry, though.  Presumably not thirsty, and isn't that odd...  (The
accountants among you will consider this rations-after-healing part of the
cost of the potion, perhaps?)

In such a world, dangerous prisoners (PCs?) might be 'restrained' by forced
ingestion of enough 'healing' potions to render them weak from hunger.

The fashion-conscious could grow ankle-length hair as they slimmed...
