RE: (TFT) Spellcasting, Fatigue, Wounds and Arrows
As I reread my post I realize I wasn't quite clear (hazards of posting in a
hurry). The rule as we play it mandates that if you use your health to
power the spell, you must use all your remaining fatigue. So in effect it
is a last shot desperation move because you are going to pass out.
The rule should read as follows.
The remaining fatigue must be combined with the wounds for the total spell
cost. The wound penalty will still accrue (-2 to cast). As a result Total
Fatigue occurs and the wizard will pass out. Sorry for my hurried post. I
literally hit send as I left the machine.
It is great to find a mailing list dedicated to TFT. I look forward to
hearing what other GMs and players have to offer.
