Mark,My gut reaction. It takes a high degree of training and thoughtfullness to tell the truth. Drinking this potion will not make someone able to describe a suspects physical appearance in great detail unless they were already a trained police officer. The only equivalent ability in the game is Detect Lies. It's easier to tell if a witness is lying, than if they are telling the truth. And there is a spell that is very high IQ that alows the wizard to get the truth. But only in the form of yes / no answers. So I would say that for the low cost of the potion above, the person affected by it will tell the truth... but only in the form of yes / no answers. They will offer no details or descriptions what so ever.
