Yes, that's what I do, too. And what I SAID I did: "If I give a stone door or 
wall 4 points of armor..."

... Even so I *still* need to give the stone door around 100 St per cm  
thickness if I'm to keep the tunneling rate down to about that given in the book. 
Without this armor, the stone needs to be around 180 St per cm thickness. 

And even if I assume that missile spells ignore the 4 pt armor of stone, they 
still have to do 200-500x normal damage vs stone to get the "book" tunneling
