Re: (TFT) Magic in combat and TFT... --> Prophesor advice...

I wrote it, but it's also a 'quote', in that it's in the voice of one of my characters. Maera can be quite insistent. :) It took about 10 minutes to 'Let me speak m'piece.' Always nice to visit with Mae.

Now Dar Fannen is all up in arms, waving his webbed hands about and ranting about the foolishness of using Astral to "Go LOOK For trouble?!?!" (The Astral plane has not been kind to Dar.) Dar wishes I relay HIS opinion that the best use for wizards in war is "Illusory scouting, and the charging of matrices." (By which Dar means Explosive gems. Some military units use obsidian-tipped arrowheads, precharged with magical energies, as a shock weapon. At least, in Dar's world, they do.)

I do _aspire_ to making money writing, but the mortgage won't wait, so I'm a computer geek to pay the bills.

Very nice!
Did you write this or is it a quote?

If you did write this I hope you are making
money publishing fiction.

Warm regards, Rick.
