(TFT) Nimrod?

So now Im totally confused.

Nimrod can refer to a Biblical personage (Noahs great grandson) who
convinced people to follow him instead of God. It could refer to the
University of Tulsas international journal of prose and poetry. Of course
theres the Nimrod restaurant and jazz bar in Cape Cod. Perhaps the NIMROD
program which solves the extended magnetohydrodynamic equations using:
High-order finite element discretization in two dimension, Pseudospectral
discretization in the third dimension, and Semi-implicit and implicit
temporal discretizations for the stiff time scales found in fusion
experiments is what is being referred (am I allowed to refer?) to. Of course
it might refer to the British 1950 digital computer of that name whose CPU
was 350 vacuum tubes and a handful of diodes and a lot of incandescent
display lamps all of which consumed six kilowatts when it was running.

So, I still don't really know to which Nimrod Justin has compared other
posters. Furthermore, not only is it not clear whether clipping or referring
is good or bad, but now there seems to confusion swirling about the use of
the term "Nimrod".

Really, people, if you simply must post about other people's poor posting
habits, then at least use unambiguous vernacular in the complaint.

Hummmm...perhaps a nimrod rod is like a lightning rod--only for nims...or
maybe a stick for punishing childern named Nim--spare the nimrod, spoil the
Nim...
