One huge advantage CB has over Vassal is that CB 'keeps' tracks of turns. 
For example, the step by step reply I think is far better than Vassal. For 
example. if someone is playing a game and performs a move and is out of 
order (useful if a lot of people are playing) CB will warn that the moves 
'dont match'. It seems more conducive than Vassal. Vassal is great for 
people who want to play in realtime and of course CB cant do that.
