(TFT) Game intro: post you games.



This is a game intro I used for my latest foray into the savage world. The
games are set in Mythical New York 1928. The document below is a handout I
provided the players. The mast head was made from scratch, and the first 2
article are Fact-itious. Part true stories gleaned from NY times archives
1928, and the other part from my fertile/devious mind.

This next 2 hour session will be the  session/Finale,  running Tues night in
Silver Spring, MD.

If you aren't from NY, you be amused to know there actually IS a Bellevue
Sanitarium in Queens NY. If you are from NY then you know to stay out of
that institution.

The game is entitled "The Mysterious case of Penelope Platz". No casualty
yet. But don't worry, there will be.


*BOY, MISSING A WEEK, FOUND IN BELLEVUE;*

*Alfred Marer Taken to Hospital Suffering From Amnesia-- Identified by
Detective*.

Alfred M. Marer, 17-year-old student, of 2,518 Webster Avenue, the Bronx,
missing since Jan. 21, for whom his father posted a reward of $500, was
found early yesterday at Bellevue Sanitarium. The teen was admitted several
weeks ago for amnesia. He arrived with bumps and bruises covering his body.
The doctors suggest that the lad was possibly..

 COLUMBIAN UNIVERSITY PROF PHILIP PLATZ DIES AT AGE 50.

*Doctors baffled as to cause.*

Professor Philip Platz died last night in the lower Manhattans warehouse
district. His body was found at approximately 2am by neighborhood police
officer McCleod. There were no signs of struggle. The police officer did
note that the victim seemed to have all of his possession intact.

The funeral will take place at Norman Funeral Home, on West 81st Street. The
Professor who was well liked by colleagues, and is survived by his wife
Nelly and his fifteen year old daughter Penelope. The ceremony will be
closed casket out of respect for the family.

Claimant to Big Estate Disputes Identity of Book in Evidence.

Emilia Duke appeals from an order setting aside a deed granting her one acre
of property belonging to her late stepfather, Calvin Leeroy Shinpaugh (Mr.
Shinpaugh). The plaintif holds that the trial court did not err in applying
the presumption of undue influence becauseappellant and Mr. Shinpaugh were
in a confidential relationship. Nonetheless, it was discovered that the
trial court erred in excluding a neighbors testimony that Mr. Shinpaugh
intended to give one acre of land to appellant before he died....
