Maybe though that represents approaching the limits of human ST while still leaving the line progression to stuff like monsters up to their limits?
Well giants and dragons and stuff go way over what tends to affect TFT games other than as HP, so I don't see why not.

Thats not to say you can't have a mega ST, its just that it would work on
a rather different scale than anything else in TFT... at best it's a good way to measure how much damage a very tough structure could take, but its
not very practical.

How about engines?
I rate them in ST, is that a dumb approach?
Well, when first starting to go about it, maybe it wasn't the best way to do it, but if whatever you've come up with works, then its no dumber than any other way.
