I see your point.
The difference between '76 and '79 doesn't loom so large in 2012 but
2015 seems like a heck of a way off.
Still, games have a long shelf life and I recall these titles being
available at the game store at the same time.
The nostalgia is nice but from a "universal" game POV it's very
interesting to review the older stuff.
If the mechanism was simple and entertaining back then it ain't broke
now and requires no fixing.
Also, at this point "I" have a bleeding "tablet" (Kindle Fire, not an
i-Pad but still...) and I'm hardly out there on the cutting edge with
the gadgets.
In other words, if Jay's got one then they are getting pretty prevalent.
If CyberBoard isn't an App by the end of the year I note that VASSAL
is open source.
Nobody's gonna be playing The Longest Day on a Kindle any time soon I
imagine but Microgames?
Something like Rivets seems Taylor made for such a format to me...
But maybe that's just me, anyway sending Jay a boatload of rules at
once is a good way to shut him up for awhile it seems.
